Launch date TBD.

The Peak app is designed for a personal trainer offering online training programs, wellness resources, and personalized support. This product specifically caters to women aged 18-60, empowering them to achieve a holistic sense of wellness through fitness, nutrition, and mental health.
I was responsible for the complete branding and mobile app design, crafting a seamless and engaging user experience. The design focuses on clarity, ease of navigation, and a visually appealing interface that reflects the brand's commitment to promoting a balanced lifestyle. From the logo and color scheme to the interactive elements of the app, every aspect was carefully considered to align with the client’s vision of empowerment and support.
Key Highlights:
-
Full branding suite including logo, typography, and color palette.
-
Intuitive mobile app design, ensuring accessibility and user-friendly navigation.
-
Focus on delivering motivational and actionable content for users’ fitness, nutrition, and mental health goals.
By blending user-centered design principles with a vibrant and supportive aesthetic, The Peak app provides a seamless platform that helps women on their journey to improved health and well-being.
01 Branding, The Problem & The Goal

I developed the complete branding for the company, including the logo and visual identity, aligning with their core values and target audience. This branding foundation led to the design of their first digital platform, the mobile app, where I ensured consistency through a cohesive design system, including colour schemes, typography, and imagery, to enhance their brand presence.
The Problem
Busy women who are consumed by taking care of their families, school, household chores or their career find achieving their fitness and wellness goals near impossible with constantly changing schedules.
The Goal
To create a fitness and wellness application that will let users have 24 hour access to online educational material along with follow along workouts which will allow users to exercise and experience self-care whenever and wherever it is most convenient to them. The platform will have a number of tools and features to help keep users motivated and accountable for their fitness and wellness journey.
02 Research & Pain Points
Identified Pain Points
Programs & One-on-One Training is Too Expensive
1
Hard to Stay Motivated and Accountable
2
Lack of Guidance for Exercise Programs & Self Care Strategies
3
Lack of Direction after Purchase
4
The study conducted was done in a focus group setting with five women to gather information to gauge whether there is a need for a community-minded platform where users and clients can purchase programs, receive educational material and tips, along with being able to follow workouts on their own time.

Charlene Clarke is a busy woman who needs to be able to get help in achieving her fitness and wellness goals without a scheduled time because her schedule is unpredictable.
Who is it for?
Peak is for women who...
Have busy schedules
Want to feel better about their bodies
Don't want to break the bank
Want to improve their nutrition and mental health
03 Wireframes & Prototypes

I began the design process by creating and finalizing paper wireframes to establish the foundational layout and user flow.
Once the structure was solidified, I transitioned to creating digital wireframes in Figma, refining the design and ensuring a smooth, intuitive user experience.

04 Usability Study & Findings

Once the low-fidelity prototype was completed, I conducted a remote, unmoderated usability study with a group of five women.
Objective
To evaluate the app's user-friendliness, the adequacy of its features, and its effectiveness in promoting user accountability through easy access to a variety of guided workouts and supportive materials.
Findings
1
Suggested being able to “pin” favourited workouts to bring it to the home page
2
Navigation was very easy, but found the chevrons to be too small to click
3
Platform has great tools and users would use the app to attain fitness goals
4
Requires more info on measurements under User Profile
Goal
Make action points more clear and make forms easier to understand what is required
05 Mock-Ups & Hi-Fi Prototype
Following the insights gathered from a usability study, I refined and created final mockups and adjusted the
high-fidelity prototype to address key user pain points and enhance the overall experience.

06 The Takeaway
The biggest takeaway from this project was witnessing how much a design can evolve through research and user studies. The insights gained from usability testing directly influenced the final product, resulting in a more intuitive and accessible experience for users. This project reinforced the importance of continuously iterating based on user feedback.
Building on this foundation, my next project for Peak involved creating a responsive website, further enhancing the company’s digital presence and user experience. Feel free to explore that project next to see how I applied similar design principles in a new context.
